General options
CONDITIONS OF BOOKING
Please complete the application form and fill out all the sections.
Don’t forget to read and accept the Terms and Conditions and the House Guidelines.
A non refundable application fee of 80€ is due upon submission of homestay application and validates your booking, by filling up the secured payment form.
It gives us guaranty of your booking, allowing us to make our research and send you all the informations.
CONDITIONS OF PAYMENT
Up to 6 weeks stays, total payment is due after you received all details of your host. This payment reconfirms definitively your reservation with your host.
For any stays over 6 weeks, the first month is due before your arrival in Paris.
You also have the possibility :
- to pay the total amount of your stay by credit card, bank transfert.
- to pay on monthly bases.
When payment is done, we will forward you an invoice corresponding to your payment.
Any bank transaction involves a lot of bank fees at our charge so total payment in once is recommended.
EXTENSION / INTERRUPTION OF STAY
Students wishing to extend their accommodation beyond the end date must contact France Accommodation & Culture . For extended periods which, are shorter than a week, accommodation will be charged on a per night basis.
Extensions are subject to availabilities. If an extension is not possible FAC will endeavour to find you a similar alternative.
In case of interuption of stay because you can’t adapt yourself to your host family, you have to inform FAC at the beginning of your stay. There is no complaint acceptable after this period.
Once payment received, there is no possible refund in cases of modifications of your stay. i.e. if you decide to arrive later or leave earlier.
The family reserves the right to evict the guest student in case of serious problem. Similarily FAC is entitled to decide not to provide another accommodation to the guest student concerned.
In case of leaving pre booked accommodation for another type of accommodation of your choice, two weeks notice is required to FAC and to your family.
SHARING A TWIN ROOM
<p>If you require accommodation in a twin room, you should request accommodation jointly with another student. It’s an option for two friends (of the same gender) staying during the same period .</p>
VISA STUDENTS
<p>France Accommodation & Culture is pleased to assist Visa students with their application by means of booking accommodation and providing letter, which can be shown to the French Consulate in your country, confirming that accommodation has been booked and paid for.</p><p>The condition required for such a certificate to be issued is that a minimum one month stay has been paid for.</p><p>If visa is not obtained, please send us the official documents in order to an eventual refund</p>
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
In case of cancellation before arrival, the fee of 80€ will not be refunded.
If cancellation occurs with less than 2 weeks notice, the cancellation charge will be the equivalent of 2 weeks accommodation fees. The balance of the accommodation will be refunded.
All cancellations must be notified by e-mail.
